We are building a list with every PSP game compatible with Anbernic's RG351P. RetroBat is the best way to play your ROMs collection on Windows ! EmuELEC, retro emulation for Amlogic devices. I just hope we get a hefty core upgrade by the end of the year. When comparing OpenEmu-BIOS and retroarch_system you can also consider the following projects: When it comes down to it all, it only takes me 10 - 30 seconds longer to load up non OE emus so I don't mind. The rest are completely trivial to me except maybe the MAME arcade games and a handful of Atari games. I use other emulators for Sega CD, N64, Playstation, and PSP. I use it for the following: GB, GBC, GBA, DS, GG, NES, SNES, GEN and 32X. It would be so much easier to just load OpenEmu up and go into the preferences and choose the directories where your specific bios files are.Įveryone uses OpenEmu a little differently. I do have a suggestion though: give the user the ability to tell OpenEmu where to find specific bios files and rom files (yes I know they are completely different things), rather than having to find everything. I can still emulate those four consoles without OE anyways. I don't want to waste days and weeks trying to fix things when I can just be patient for the devs to update the main version of OpenEmu with more cores. I never said the emulator uses mp3.just that I'm aware of issues with loading Sega CD games due to BIOS, mp3 files, cue sheets, etc.Īt this point I've given up on trying to play any Sega CD, Playstation, PSP, or N64 games via OpenEmu. Once again, you're not following directions. Playstation games run great through PCSXR but once again it's telling me I don't have the Bios files when I do. Don't expect Mupen64Plus to be any better than Sixtyforce. Currently, not all N64 games will get picked up depending on the type of ROM dump but they will still play if the emulator supports them. I've been using sixtyforce but #1-I can't stand the constant watermark and #2-a LOT of games DON'T work with it. It's only showing one of my 33 N64 roms, Army Men Sarges Heroes. You must've dropped an ISO into the library that got picked up as PSP in error. It also lists Star Wars Rebel Assault as the only Sega CD game I have while all my other Sega CD games are under PSP for some reason.Īgain, see our guide for loading in CD-based games. Secondly, it's telling you the BIOS files aren't there because they're NOT there! You must have the correctly named files that it's asking you for or it will not work. Okay, first of all ignore what you know about Kega Fusion because that's not relevant to the emulator core we use for Sega CD (GenesisPlus-GX). They work just fine every single time I run Sega CD through Fusion352i. Well it's telling me the Bios files aren't there for Sega CD games but they are. I just wish these additional cores would be easier to install/download for everyone running Mavericks. The idea of putting everything together, including artwork, game saves, cheats, wireless controller compatibility, etc. I think OpenEmu is the best think to ever happen to emulation. My point is this.if we have all these extra emus that work fine on their own with Mavericks, why aren't they being incorporated into the NON-EXPERIMENTAL version of OpenEmu? I was excited at the notion of finally being able to include Playstation, PSP, Sega CD, and N64 into OpenEmu as my "one program fits all" solution instead of running 4 separate emus in addition to OpenEmu. Also, when I dragged my Sega CD roms into OpenEmu, it put all but 1 of them into Sony PSP for some reason.? I normally use Fusion352i on my Mac running OSX Mavericks and it runs Sega CD just fine. I have all the BIOS files which I threw into the Game Library folder and Sega CD folder but still nothing. I downloaded the experimental version and still can't play Sega CD games.
